Hello, genuines!

Enjoy your weekend and check out our news.

Musically Inspired Design Challenge!
It has been said that music is the universal language that transcends boundaries and brings people together all over the world. Our challenge to you is to create a design for a T-Shirt that is inspired by music! Tune in, turn up the volume, and explore all the octaves. Designing never sounded so good!
:music: Participation is easy!
You come up with potential designs for our deviantART T-Shirts.
Deviants vote on their favorite designs.
Judges choose three designs from the highest-voted submissions.
Artists of the winning submissions get cash and their designs printed on T-Shirts for all to see and buy!
Entries should display an original image or images that show music through art. Use notes, instruments, or musicians -- anything that shows what music means to you. For more inspiration on the deviantART Design Challenge, check out the
Authentic CitizenshipOnce Again, The Room Fell Away. The prodigious artistic and cultural exchange that we have all committed ourselves to building, to participating in and to sharing with each other every day at deviantART often occurs in RL on the decks of HQ as well. One of the best aspects of being in my position here at deviantART is the privilege to curate salons with artists of every medium and success level imaginable, art appreciators, writers, and educators from all points of light within the deviantART community inviting them to make the trek to HQ for what always manifests as an inspiring, thoughtful, educative, and enlightening dialogue. But sometimes, sometimes, things rise to a whole other level. You suddenly find yourself magically reaching that special deviantART "destination" that is a connection point of art, life, community and communication that has no specific Office # designation. The room falls away… Flash Fiction Month 2012Remember in April when cruelty came in the form of NaPoWriMo and Script Frenzy? A “Flash Fiction” is a piece of prose which has a wordcount between 6 and 1000 words. The piece must be a complete story from start to finish and a standalone piece of work.
This is a great opportunity for those who have perhaps wanted to try a new form of writing, or enhance current skills. It is also worthwhile f

:thumb309516740: Love dA Lit: Issue 83Welcome to the eighty-third issue of my weekly news article, Love dA Lit! Every Sunday this article will aim to promote volunteer opportunities, various resources, prompts, challenges, and workshops, as well as highlighting various contests, and spotlighting a specific group every week. This is by no means a complete list of all the literature going-ons, merely a tool to help you get involved and stay informed.
:star: This week's group spotlight is vicious-verse! :star:
Note: Flash Fiction Month is coming, will you be participating? Also, we now have a CV dedicated to just Fan Fiction, JZLobo, so I have added his suggestion guidelines below. Be sure to ONLY send him Fan Fiction suggestions. For all other literature goodness BeccaJS and thorns are your go-to lovelies.
